Getting started with Hex
Get access, create a workspace, add your first site, verify it and run your first crawl.
Hex runs in your browser at app.hexseo.au. Everything you do lives in a workspace: your agency, your team or a single brand.
1. Get access
Hex is in private beta: access is by invitation. See the private beta page, or email [email protected] for a demo. When your invitation arrives, open the link in it to set up your account, then sign in at app.hexseo.au with your password or an emailed sign-in link.
2. Create a workspace
The new-workspace flow has four steps:
- Name: your agency or company name. It also sets the workspace’s address.
- Plan: pick the plan for this workspace.
- Team: invite colleagues by email. You can do this later under Team & settings.
- Ready: a checklist of what to do next.
3. Add a site
Use the site selector at the top of the left menu and choose Add site. The flow checks the domain, finds the sitemap and CMS, then asks you to:
- Verify ownership through Google Search Console, a DNS TXT record or a meta tag.
- Connect sources such as Search Console, GA4, rank tracking and AI assistants.
- Run a first crawl with a page limit and an optional schedule.
4. Read the results
- Dashboard: site health, rankings, clicks, AI visibility and roadmap progress for the selected site.
- Crawls: issues by severity, every page with its titles, status and indexability, and exports to CSV or Excel.
- Recommendations: fixes you can dry-run and apply to WordPress through the Hex SEO plugin.
